My Sis Leaves the South to Visit the Pacific Northwest

For my birthday this year my husband flew my sister to the Northwest for a surprise visit. I have to say, I've never been so surprised and happy in the same single moment. I miss my family and friends back in the South, so this was a HUGE treat. We took her to some of our favorite spots in Seattle; Pike Place Market, Ferry Boat Ride, Lunch at Ivars sitting outside by the water, and Snoqualmie Falls. I was hoping she would fall in love with WA and ship the rest of the family up for an extended stay, maybe next time :)

What a Super Star!

I love it that my little girl loves the camera; gives me a lot of practice with my photography, and also gives her lots of memories! She is such a ham and definitely adds a unique spark to our family.

Out With Friends

We celebrated our friend's birthdays by going to a great pizza place, The Rock! It's always fun for us to get out with adults and have some fun without changing diapers, or worrying about our little kiddos painting on walls :) Thanks for the fun night Adrienne and Percy!

Addi's 4th Birthday Party

We had Addi's 4th birthday party at our house during my turn to host our weekly playgroup. The kiddos had a blast and Addi was a princess for a day. She picked out her cake and had only one request for her party, "I want a pink one." I even made her pink princess punch :) I have to smile when color is involved, because for a while it's all about pink and purple.

Wow, It's Been A While!

Losing so many of our latest family photos during the last computer crash, I neglected posting on our family blog. I am now emotionally over the computer crash and moving on :) Here are some photos I took yesterday while goofing off with my camera. Looking at the second photo, you will understand why Blaise is not in many photos lately, he gets frustrated and then gets angry when the lens is pointed at him. I'm hoping this aversion to my camera will ease, but in the meantime I will let him off the hook.
